Candor is a deck of questions you answer out loud with the people around you. Old friends, family at dinner, a new team on its first week: each deck has questions that skip the small talk.
House rules
- 01There are no wrong answers, only honest ones.
- 02It's okay to skip a question if it doesn't feel right.
- 03Ask a follow-up question before you draw the next card.
- 04Phones face down, except the one holding the deck.
- 05Laugh at the silly ones. Take your time with the serious ones.

Getting started
Choose a game type
Select the game that fits your group: Friends, Couples, Family, Kids, Work, Party. Each has questions tailored to that setting.
Pick a category
Browse the available categories and choose one that feels right for the moment. You can switch categories anytime.
Draw a question
Tap the card to flip a new question. Read it aloud and take your time with it.
Take turns answering
The person to the right of the reader answers first. Then draw a new question and pass to the next reader, going around the group.
Playing remotely or in groups
Candor works over video calls and in big groups too. Tap the Room pill at the top of the table to copy the invite link or show the QR code.
Remote calls
Playing over video call? Share the link so everyone sees the same question on their own screen. Or have one person share their screen while others follow along.
Big screen display
For parties or family gatherings, open Candor on a TV, projector, or large monitor. One person controls the game from their phone. Everyone else reads the questions on the big screen.
Sync across devices
Everyone who opens a shared game link joins the same session. A new draw shows up on every screen at once.
